The company TOOLS AND TESTING SAS was registered in Bogotá in 2001, its operations began in 2003 with GAS NATURAL in Bogotá and in that same year operations began in Peru with PLUSPETROL in the ANDOAS FIELD, north of Peru. In 2006, sensor development began and in that same year an injection unit was introduced to calibrate each sensor for each well. In 2008, the screening technique was introduced using 8-inch meshes to obtain solids in an instant of time and in this way improve the quantification of the sensor; This eliminates the use of the injector.

In 2011, flow microcopy technology was introduced to determine the geometry of the particles present in wells and flow lines. In 2013, COINPEGAS SAS was created with the objective of offering services with similar characteristics. Starting in 2017, units with solar panels were introduced, avoiding electrical risk in connections where there were 440v and too much cable extension in the well; In this way, it was possible to reduce the risk due to the existence of a drill or workover equipment in the area. In 2020, the implementation of the satellite unit and Wi-Fi in the field began; In this same year, the term erosion index was implemented within the digital granulometric analysis. In 2023, the concept of web mapping with production and sand information with statistical analysis will be introduced.
